FIRAN TECHNOLOGY GROUP CORPORATION (“FTG”) ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF AMY RICE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

TORONTO, ONTARIO – (October 31, 2022) – Firan Technology Group Corporation (TSX:FTG) announced today that Amy Rice has joined FTG’s Board of Directors.

Ms. Rice is Chief Executive Officer of Sy-Klone International, a global leader and manufacturer of air filtration products for industrial machinery and military applications, both in the United States and internationally. Prior to this, Ms. Rice had extensive experience in the Transportation Sector. Ms. Rice, a resident of Jacksonville, Florida, brings over 20 years of business experience bridging strategy, operations, finance and marketing. Ms. Rice has a BBA from Emory University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

“We are pleased to have Amy join the FTG Board,” stated Ed Hanna, Chairman of FTG Corporation. He added, “Amy brings a fresh perspective to FTG, which will be an asset as we focus on growth and capital deployment.”
